I have five years experience working at The Writing Center at UW-Madison, in both instructional and administrative roles.
In 2011, I began working as a one-on-one tutor, consulting with undergraduate and graduate students on academic and professional writing projects across the disciplines.
Working again as a one-on-one tutor, as well as group facilitator and workshop leader, I co-led three week-long Mellon-Wisconsin Dissertation Writing Camps.
In 2015-2016, I served as a TA Coordinator for the Writing Center, which involved teaching non-credit workshops on a variety of topics, contributing to professional development for TA instructors, and helping to manage day-to-day operations of the Center as part of team. My blog post, “Using Peer Writing Groups for the Senior Thesis and Beyond” reflects on one aspect of my coordinator work.
